Senior Manager, EMEA Public Relations

We are seeking an experienced senior public relations professional preferably with consumer and enterprise-level product experience to help manage the PR effort for our consumer and broadcast products at Pinnacle Systems.

This position will directly report to the Director of Worldwide Corporate Communications and have dotted-line reporting to the General Manager of the EMEA region.

The person in this role will establish improved processes for PR and serve as the lead contact with EMEA internal clients. Also, this role will manage EMEA PR agencies and ensure effective execution of global PR programs.

The Senior Manager of EMEA PR will help set PR strategy for the region, as well as provide tactical PR execution. This person will serve as a media contact for press in the EMEA region; writing and pitching press releases; setting up press interviews, press tours, and speaking engagements; managing editorial calendar opportunities and managing the product review program.

The ideal candidate will be creative, determined, flexible, resourceful and articulate. The candidate will be an independent thinker and effective communicator who will flourish in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The position is base in Paris Office.

Requirements and skills:
• 10 years experience in high-tech PR in EMEA region; industry and PR agency experience a plus.
• Experience working in a matrixes organization
• Experience and proven track record with tech media, as well as the broader business and consumer mass media outlets.
• Excellent oral and written skills (press releases, pitch letters, FAQs, backgrounders, customer success stories, etc.) are essential.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts into understandable.
• Proven ability to work with senior management, marketing team and PR team to develop, manage and execute public relations strategies and product related materials.
• Must have great leadership, project management and interpersonal skills.
• Must be strategic and creative thinker, self-starter, extremely organized and detail oriented.
• Must be proficient in multiple languages including English, French and German
• Job does require travel to trade shows and PR events/press tours.
