EMEA Marketing Manager
We are seeking an experienced EMEA Marketing Manager.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Oversees the development of marketing plans and programs for the EMEA market to build the brand of the company, promote the sale of company products and further the company's sales objectives. Acts as extended member of WW marketing team to plan and execute marketing communications programs in the region. Represents corporate marketing activities and initiatives to the region and participates on staff of region GM. Understands regional needs and ensures they are reflected in corporate marketing programs Consults with other areas of management, product groups, regional sales organizations, and advertising agencies to drive development of programs, and ensure optimal marketing communications mix. Manages marketing planning and communications process within the region. Ensures corporate brand guidelines are effectively implemented in the region. Manages the preparation of advertising creative, packaging, and sales collateral for the region. Controls local advertising and MARCOM budget, and recommends the media best suited to sell specific products and services. Directs internal creative services and external vendors to produce promotional material. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Develops and directs efficient processes for planning, creation and execution of marketing deliverables that meet the quality, cost and time requirements of the function. Ensures that all marketing communications programs have effectiveness measures that are reported and used to allocate marketing communications resources.
This position reports directly into the corporate marketing organization, and reports dotted line the GM of EMEA. The resources it directs report into functional manager in corporate marketing but are dedicated to EMEA and take day-to-day direction from the position.
This position is based in Paris Office.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing needed – MBA desired.
• Experience in planning and executing marketing programs for both consumer and commercial technology businesses in key European markets (France, Germany, UK)
• At least 8 years experience in marketing communications, with some years in a technology category.
• Experience in planning the marketing mix for go-to-market programs and in tracking their effectiveness.
• Experience working effectively in a matrix structure of a global company
• Experience in planning media, writing creative briefs, managing agency and internal creative resources.
• Very effective at working across organizations including product marketing and sales.
• Track record at developing innovative programs that have impact in the market
• Experienced in web-based advertising and promotions.
• Experience in managing a marketing communications team.
• Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills and sound judgment capability.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, effective at influencing and selling ideas across the organization, and at leading and effecting organizational change.
• Experience in the consumer market and retail desirable.
